Fresh Scents

Sorry i've not posted in a while, i've been super busy with work recently.
I thought i'd show you my two favourite clean and fresh scents i've been loving.
now although Yankee Candle are expensive, the candles they produce are fantastic quality as they burn for ages, the scent lasts a long time and the packaging itself is pretty and minimal.
The Clean Cotton description says: 'Sun-dried cotton combined with green notes, white flowers, and a hint of lemon.'
The Fluffy Towels description says: 'fresh scent of clean towels warm from the dryer with notes of lemon, apple, lavender and lily.'
So basically the fluffy towels candle smells like fresh clean laundry, and the clean cotton candle smells like fresh bed sheets and a clean house.
I've been loving these scents in winter as they are cosy and lovely especially on beautifully crisp winter days.
Hope you enjoy your day today.

Look into my Treasure Chest

https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JewellerybyJaqueline

So These are a few jewellery pieces my mum created. She has an Etsy shop which i have linked above. As she is a full time worker, she doesn't get much chance to rest, however when she does, her hobby is to make jewellery which is very therapeutic for her.
She has created some beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings for women and even some cufflinks for men.
She loves to play around with genuine gemstones and sterling silver chain so what you see is of high quality.

Hope you enjoy this brief style post,

All About Me

Hey There, Welcome. My names Abby and this is my blog. I'll give you a brief background of me: I'm 20 years old, Blonde, 5"7, crazy cat lady and im bizarrely likened to Phoebe of Friends.
I decided to create this blog as i became extremely bored whilst being unemployed for 2 whole years! I finally have been given the chance to work as a part-time Pharmacy Assistant .. so that's exciting!
The reason behind my blog name 'TurtleTreasures' is quite interestingly amusing.. ever since high school i had been given the name Turtle/Turts due to my green coat, backpack and small head. (Yes a small head...) It's stuck ever since and i love it, it makes me laugh! not only that but i do actually love turtles! Also my mum came up with turtle treasures as this blog is basically a look into my treasure chest, so enjoy.
I also have a pinterest account which im quite obsessed with: www.pinterest.com/sweetlysailing
It is also linked as a button on the right.

Winter Weather Style #1

This is Winter Weather Style #1
I found this image on Pinterest and it caught my eye, It's a look from Anthropologie. I love Anthropologie for their unique products, always of excellent quality and always quirky, however they are quite pricey for the average working woman. For this Winter Weather Style #1 i will look up cheaper options to get a 'Look for Less'
Enjoy!

We Had a Flurry

So 13/14th Jan we had a snow flurry. Only a few centimeters but hey its something! These are a few snaps i took using the Lumix DMC-FS50 camera. Not the best camera but it does the job for quick photo's. These are taken through a window over the hills in West Yorkshire.
Not going to lie, i didn't quite expect to be waking up to snow... England is known for having temperamental weather but it was a swell surprise to wake up to. It's a very chilly and windy day however the sun does make it 10x better.
Hope you enjoy this brief post,
